Overview

Nexo fuel cell 2022 is an inefficient, innovative technology, flagship of Hyundai. A hydrogen powered SUV with an estimated EPA range of 354-380 miles with zero emission. Grandeur, safety, and craftsmanship makes it stand out among the Hyundais. An electric vehicle fueled by hydrogen with a capacity to refuel within five minutes. A great alternative to gasoline powered vehicles. The only drawback of the Neo fuel cell is that it depends on hydrogen fuel stations and limits the availability of the vehicle to regions with hydrogen fuel stations. Currently it is sold and owned only in California.

Driver assistance features

Blue edition

Heated front seats with eight-way adjustments are standard in the Blue edition. The standard 12.3-inch infotainment system which auto integrates Apple, CarPlay and Android and 10.25-inch digital clusters are seamlessly integrated into a widescreen display. It also integrates navigation, and voice control. A number of Blue Link services are already built into the multimedia system. Other standard technologies included in the base trim include dual USB chargers and a wireless charging pad. The suite detects pedestrians ahead avoiding collisions, lane keeping, rear cross traffic, and adaptive cruise control. 

Limited edition

The front seats of the Limited edition are ventilated and have a heated steering wheel. roof rails, and power sunroof, Smart parking and Blind spot view monitor are unique to this edition.

• Smart Parking

Its 360 degree sensors guide it to park in a parallel or perpendicular area autonomously regardless of the driver being in or out of the vehicle. It is possible to remotely move the vehicle forward or backward using key fob control.⁠

• Blind spot view monitor

displays a broader view of the blind spots on the instrument cluster via a camera feed.

Interior and Exterior

The cabin is spacious with five comfortable seatings designed using bio-based leatherette. A cargo space of 30 cubic cm behind the rear seat. It is ventilated, comfortable and personable. Its curves, lines, and details are refined, which makes it highly aerodynamic. Otherwise a drag can increase the vehicle’s range.

Safety

One of the safest editions in its segment. Its innovative technologies such as the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, the blind spot viewer and the Lane Following Assist makes it a safer option for everyone. To prevent spills and other mishaps during an accident, the hydrogen fuel is stored in a carbon-fiber tank. It is even safer to the environment than gasoline powered as the vehicle runs on greener fuel making it environmentally friendly.

Warranty and Maintenance

The high- capacity lithium ion battery system has been guaranteed for ten years which is equal to one hundred thousand miles. Hyundai offers the best warranty coverage in the market already and now they are offering a complimentary scheduled maintenance which is for three years or 36000 miles. Oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations are included in their maintenance which is performed at factory-scheduled intervals. A powertrain warranty of 100,000 miles or ten years and a limited warranty of 60,000 miles or six years has been included in their warranty coverage, and the addition of free maintenance is a significant step for a non-luxury manufacturer.
